Please stop quoting the entire message when you reply. Try to quote only
what you believe is needed to reply.
You likely are running gcc4 non-hybrid. Bowser is gcc2 compiled. You should
run gcc2 hybrid or gcc4 hybrid (both gcc2 & gcc4 libraries) to run lots more
software. Check "about this system" to see what version of Haiku you are
using.
IRC client of choice on Haiku is Vision.
In terminal, try installoptionalpackage -l
It will give you a few things you can install.
libexpat.so.1 is either named libexpat.so or missing but also you will need
gcc2 library versions for gcc2 programs.
gcc4 programs work only with gcc4 libraries.
gcc2 programs work only with gcc2 libraries.
