[haiku] r1a2 on an eeepc 900

Hi
Any ideas on getting r1a2 booted on an eeepc 900, it halts on boot on the
hdd icon, in safemode as well as normal boot.
I do believe http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/3933 may have something to do
with it, but not sure.
I am no programmer so cant fix this myself.
I was just thinking haiku would rock on an eeepc like this.
Is there anything i can do to help this to be fixed and worked out,
I have a live usb of r1a2 here ready.
