To help with the FreeBSD names you can do the following.
Start with this link:
http://dev.haiku-os.org/changeset/28597/haiku/trunk/src/add-ons/kernel/drivers/network/Jamfile
Then go through the history by clicking "Previous Change" over & over.
In message area, you'll see the FreeBSD driver name for the Haiku network
driver. This should make things easier for you.
