This is real simple everyone. DON"T PUT THE "." ON THE PATH. If a user does not know enough about the shell to realize what to do in the shell, when trying to execute a script that is not on the path, they probably won't even know that "ls" will give them a listing, or "rm" will remove a file. They will use Tracker. If they want to run a script, they will double-click it. Seriously people.
