I think they changed that saying. Now it is: If it ain't broke, break it and make it better. New name is a good idea. -----Original Message----- From: Chuck PUP Payne [mailto:cepayne@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, May 06, 2002 3:38 PM To: openbeos@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [openbeos] Re: new name for obos | openbeos Why was Be called Be to begin with? Why Change name? Don't you think people will think that you are no longer following BeOS? Oh, well that my two cent. I think that OpenBeOS is better, look at BlueOS. I know it too is base on Be and Linux, but when I hear Blue I think IBM, maybe it my age. Just like when I see the Fuji sys., I think Atari or the red and white check ball I think Amiga. Well I hear Be I think of that great blue red logo. I know Palm owns it. What the old saying it not broke don't fix it. Well I know I am outsider because I am not a programming, just end-users. But I like name Open BeOS, oh well no one listens to me anyway. Chuck Payne Magi Design and Support
