I think it works just fine the way it works in R5.

    Because I'm not the only one annoyed by this behavior.

Anyway, I'll do it how the majority wants it, so people, start sharing opinions!

(Except those "palette" windows which hide all the time.
Now -those- are annoying.)

What do you have with those. These are a must! don't what them, don't use them!
[How would it be for your screen be filled with lots of windows needed by only one normal window?]
