[openbeos] ide status

Sorry to be a bother, and great work so far.
I was wondering how far along the ide work was going?
I don't have a single floppy drive, and I'd like to boot the kernel.
I don't think that booting the kernel will even work from cdrom even if I
can make a floppy disk image. Is this correct?
Also, I'm guessing that compiling this kernel under linux is no longer
possible. Anyone working on that? Need help?
