After an initial install of Haiku, there may be hardware that isn't supported, but is supported, however Haiku can't include the supporting drivers because of license issues.
Say for instance a bt838 analog tv tuner driver that supports a huge number of tv cards.
Is it possible to build up a database of such drivers available for BeOS and have a hardware scanner suggest where/how to get the support after the installation?
That would be computing simplified, instead of leaving it up to the user to hunt down drivers; kind of like Windows update..
