Hallo, Adi,

Can we use nVidia's 3D drivers for Linux in Haiku+MESA?
Sometime it is possible to link those closed source *.o binaries in beos
driver. I have some success to link the binaries from Linux SmartLink
winmodem driver in my own implementation of beos smlink driver. The main
requirement for this is hardware abstraction layer to separate
system-dependent calls in some kind of wrappers. With smlink driver it
was possible - I have successfully build the driver and it works in
cooperation with this linux binary code. It initializes hardware and
tries to perform modem connections. Technically it might be possible,
but... As far as I remember the nVidia's license do not allow any
modification of the linux driver's distribution. :-(
