well, this is something in the middle,
it's not cvs and it's not a binary.
the problem is that binaries are big.
and compilations are cycles sucking.
for example, u want to see the latest and greatest opentracker.
u see that one file got updated with bug fixes, but u don't want to download the cvs tree, or a binary someone built.
as i said, this is something in the middle,
u download the objects and linking is done.
u don't need make/jamfiles. u don't need to know what is going on.
this is a fast update, but as i said,
u will have to keep a seperate folder with all the objects, and the size of all of them combined is the same size as the binary.
I would love for this idea to be merged as a feature to one of the already existing work in progress update apps.
