Nice! Yes, my main concern was convenience. But it's not so important, I 
have not even looked into which chipset I have in my ThinkPad. After I 
moved, I have not yet set up a Wireless LAN again... so I didn't check out 
your awesome work - but will do that ASAP. I can customize my build anyway, 
so it doesn't really make a difference if I let the build extract a package 
or if any particular driver is part of the tree or not.
