Since you're not pulling from origin, then you need to add --tags to
your command line.

Normally, if origin is set to the URL above, and you're already on the
master branch, then you don't need any arguments to git pull.

You can check how your remotes are set up using git remote -v.

$ git remote -v
origin git://git.haiku-os.org/haiku (fetch)
origin git://git.haiku-os.org/haiku (push)
$ git pull -v git://git.haiku-os.org/haiku
From git://git.haiku-os.org/haiku
* branch HEAD -> FETCH_HEAD
Already up-to-date.

As I said, don't need to supply arguments in this case:

git pull -v

Or if you're feeling paranoid:

git pull -v --tags
