[openbeos] Re: binary middle ground

First we would need to have a beos version of gcc 3.0 (the Geek Gadget team 
could do it)
Then the problem is gcc 3.0 has some binary incompatibility as I understood...

so, either we stick to R5 and the old one, either we jump into the new world, 
putting aside any binary compatibility. Btw, is gcc 3.0 considered 'stable' 
(I mean it would be useless to use it while there is still possibilities that 
newer versions can break compatibility again.) ?
