A vote a bit more "open", where those who vote can see the results in 
realtime, is also quite desirable.

One more recommendation: if you want any attendance from overseas, then 
please avoid setting the date after the summer air fares kick in (which 
is usually around 6/20, although it can change). Airplane tickets 
become prohibitive after that, especially for international flights.
