SoundPlay has both a 'File' and a 'SoundPlay' menu.... 'About' is in SoundPlay, but 'Quit' is in file. This is not a good example IMO... For what its worth, 'About', 'Quit' and other directly-related-to-the- app stuff should be in the top-left menu (since thats the way most apps handle it - its probably going to be the most comfortable thing for most users). I think this menu should probably be labelled with the name of the app - since for apps that don't actually load/save data directly, "File" really doesn't make any sense; and most users operate on motor memory for these functions anyway. At any rate - it would be nice to have some guidelines in place for app developers - just make sure anything that ships with the OS conforms to them ;) David Shipman
