Not sure who/what mollom does with these "support notifications" -
I've certainly never seen anything.
What you, and others, are experiencing is a complete failure of the
website admins (myself included) to settle on a proper anti-spam
solution. There have been numerous changes to the spam modules in our
Drupal site now in an attempt to reduce spam, and it seems every
change comes with new issues.
Instead of discussing the pros/cons of each solution, it seems
everyone's just in a hurry to change them in order to reduce spam.
