sorry to come back to this that late. I didn't find the time sooner...
The few arguments to keep this setting in the GUI weren't convincing
IMO.
I'll go ahead and remove the option (it's still available in the Tracker
setting file for backward compatibility and hardcore-power-users). Of
course you can still bypass the Trash with SHIFT+DELETE, as before.
