I think nowhere.
IIRC, a type´s description (which could be long) isn´t shown
anywhere else besides in FileTypes. (But it is available to
other applications separately, via the BMimeType API, IIRC.)
The type name (which should be short) is shown in Tracker as
the Kind-attribute. When a type hasn´t got a short name,
Tracker shows the raw mimetype instead.
