Where do I start with this?  
First off, the release was my idea.  
Secondly, would you wait until every piece is done to do an initial test run?  
So no one gets *ANY* feedback until the kernel, app_kit, etc are ready to ship? 
 
I think that would be foolish beyond measure.  
  
This "release" is intended to be an beta type release. For our beta test team.  
 
Now, since we are an open source project, it is publically available. As is all 
of the code.  
ANYONE could download it and build it.
