I am afraid, that bug fix doesn't work. I cannot reproduce the hang on 
any of my systems, so I am a bit stuck there.
But you can just the the BIG_TRACKER to TRUE in the makefile, and 
rebuild it, that's all you would have to do to check it out.
BTW normally the bug also causes BeOS to hang completely - looks like 
you are lucky ;-)

Stephan Aßmus just told me that disabling "call the BIOS" would let 
Tracker boot on his system.
