Yup, welcome, come on in and have fun :-)
I haven't contributed much to Haiku recently but I found that when I was
getting started I got on quite well by finding bugs that affected stuff I
wanted to use and had a poke at them.
Take a look at the bug tracker and see if there's anything you like the look of!
