The graphics card might not be supported natively... you'll likely be
forced into VESA mode.

A quick note on the graphics cards. Radeon HD 4000-6000 (especially the 54+ range) are great cards and Haiku *should* (hopefully) have basic extended mode setting in
the future (lots of work is ongoing to get these working)
