Not to draw this out any further, but the GUI is not in the kernel.

Ok here we go again in meta mode, or "everything everyone
ever discussed about everyone's favorite topic without
ever reaching an agreement".

When someone comes posting a blatant oxymoron on a
mailing list (folks, the NT kernel includes the *GUI* for starters),
which is already off-topic because humor is not explicitely
part of the charter, last I checked, only tolerated, and
even makes it sounds ambigous (i.e. someone could have
taken the things seriously, though it implies serious doubts
in the "know what the guy's talking about" department), THEN
it really calls for an off-with-his-head medication, or,
since we're not in wonderland, for a moderation hardline.

If this guy here was Emp3ror of ThE wOrLd (whops the job's
already taken by dumbya, will have to wait in line) and
why not also moderator of the list, I'd have suggested the
reply to go like "ah thanks for the humorous post, though
the sarcasm is not obvous enough, you should have worded
it like this and that" ..etc. Nothing mean, just a gentle
piece of advice... lacking humor skills is not punishable
by the law anywhere after all.

Oh and long sentences like mine should be banned as well :-)

Not that it'd have any incidence whatsoever to us if NT
was a µk, it'd even be a bigger shame factor if the thinggie's
output was the one we know in spite such internals.

<stomping the dead horse into pieces to ensure it won't resurrect>
