Those particular devices support DVB; since the cx2388x family of PCI chipsets
had analogue devices (PAL/SECAM/NTSC), but also early digital devices
(DVB/ATSC) and a couple of hybrid devices (PAL/DVB or NTSC/ATSC).

If we extend the cx23882 driver to support the cx23880/1/3 chips and port
the BSD frontend driver for the digital tuners and demodulators [1], then
we could support a whole bunch of early digital PCI devices using the DVB
and ATSC standards.
