[haiku] Lan Vs Wifi

Hi all,
I have an issue regarding my wifi settings: every time I switch on my
laptop Haiku tries to obtain DHCP IP despite the lan connection is
configured and working.
I mean: the os blocks the possibility of connecting trhough lan until
it has figured out the wifi.
Is it meant to be this way? or is it some bug?
Should it be meant, is there the possibility of determining priority
in the connections to the net? (lan before wifi)
