Haiku to make such a port. They seem to be quite busy so I doubt the

the complex nature of Haiku, the core crew cannot simply let anyone just
check in any old code without reviewing it, but that's time-consuming.
Since everyone is working on a volunteer basis, people don't have time to
review all of them. Unfortunately, waiting forever for a patch to get
reviewed causes people to lose interest. I'd assume even if a group of new
devs wanted to tackle a Paiku port, it'd need serious review by the core
Haiku team and thus would never see the market. It's a shame because it's
an exciting project but the reality is that people have lives and jobs and
can only spare so much time for it.
Sorry, not trying to be a downer, but I'm just trying to manage your
expectations based on my own personal experience.
