If you would follow the haiku commits from Axel in case of the intel driver you would see, that i provide the sourcecode all the time. There is not a single dime of a commercial interest from my side, the interest is to get the driver running. I dont see a point to send the sourcecode for testing purposes. Once it works the changes always get mailed to Axel and find their way into the reporsity. I didnt sent a link because the binaries are out of question very small. I would agree with you if we talk about >500kb. It is faster for the tester to get just the binary and then later use the Haiku tree to get the sources. sincerely yours, Bernd On 2007-02-15 at 15:14:58 [+0100], Sven Pleger <sven.pleger@xxxxxx> wrote: > Bernd Korz <bernd.korz@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > We made a new testversion of the exterme driver and i wonder if one or the > > other could test it and give me a result. > > > > Take care, > > Bernd > > www.berndsworld.com > > Hello Bernd, > > can you please stop sending binary files to this mailing list? > Doing this is rude. > > It appears to me that you have at least two domains where you > can host them, so it would be polite to post only a link. > > And because this is an open source project, while you have > commercial interest in tests results, I kindly ask you to > provide the sourecode along with those drivers that you > which to have tested by the Haiku community. > > Sincerely yours > Sven
