Actually this is a grub issue that might need documenting.Grub must be told not to look at the partition as it doesn't understand BeFS.rootnoverify (hd0,0) NOT root (hd0,0) Now I just need to workout why it hangs. Yesterday...The wiki is gone and I couldn't find the install instructions and google/s spider has yet to crawl the new site.Am I missing something in the steps below? Downloaded a Haiku Image from haikuhost 19995. Decompressed it. Formatted the target partition mkbfs /dev/disk/scsi/0/0/0/0_6 openbeos Mounted it. Made it bootable makebootable /openbeos Mounted the image mountimage ~/haiku.image Copied the files on to the new partition. cp -R /Haiku/* /openbeos Reboot It used to work.Grub complains about error 12 "an error occurred that isn't defined by any other error.".It will boot Zeta with the same config text.
