Icon-O-Matic is the only application that is able to create the Haiku
icon format. You may use any application that supports SVG to prepare
them, but you will have to import that into Icon-O-Matic to store them
in their final format.

Furthermore, all official icons have been created with Icon-O-Matic
directly - therefore, you would have to use that application and export
the icons to SVG if you need to use SVG. You will find the source icons
in data/artwork/icons/.

Be aware though, that SVG is not a full replacement for the HVIF (Haiku
Vector Icon Format), nor vice versa. There is a number of techniques
that make icons smaller, and crispier that SVG does not offer.

Bye,
   Axel.
