i don't really know if this is enough to build the filesystem stuff but
i believe so.
although i'm not even sure if it's worth the effort right now because
as Microsoft points out on their web page, one of the reasons this
isn't included in MSDN is that it's unsupported and this API could
change at anytime.
this means that once microsoft finds people writing products it doesn't
like that haven't paid them: <chop>. the standards change and microsoft
makes everyone else upgrade again.
