[haiku] How do I get Haiku's ramdisk working?

Hi there!

I was wondering how I could get Haiku's ramdisk working.
There is a binary "ramdisk" in src/bin/ I can compile. Fine, I put it
in /system/non-packaged/bin/, but "ramdisk create -s 2g" says:

Error: Failed to open RAM disk control device
"/dev/disk/virtual/ram/control": No such file or directory
Error: Failed to create RAM disk device: No such file or directory

There's a src/add-ons/kernel/drivers/disk/virtual/ram_disk I can compile, too.
I put the binary into
/system/non-packaged/add-ons/kernel/drivers/bin/ram_disk
and link to it from
/system/non-packaged/add-ons/kernel/drivers/disk/virtual/ram_disk

Still no go. What am I missing?

There's also a src/add-ons/kernel/file_systems/ramfs which currently
doesn't compile. Is that needed as well?

On IRC it was mentioned that our "mount" command may be capable to
make a ramdisk available. I failed to make that work though...

So, any advise on ramdisks?

Regards,
Humdinger
