I seem to have run into trouble (:-/)
I booted up my usual partition (hrev50180) and I was faced with a black screen!
I heard my startup sound, and I found I could bring up (invisible) Terminal and
"shutdown -r". Maybe a package got a flipped bit?
My other partitions seem fine, so I thought -- with PM -- that I could just move
out the 'haiku_..." packages and copy over the slightly newer set (hrev50559)
to the failing partition. Now the loader for that partition doesn't work! (It
seems
to think the current volume is the one I copied the packages from.)
I have grub as the initial boot screen -- it's still fine. Tried
"makebootable".
Made no difference. DId a checkfs and it doesn't seem to think there are
problems.
What am I missing?
