[haiku] Haiku threads vs pthreads

I'm reading up on using threads on Haiku. I see that pthreads are available on 
Haiku. Can anyone tell me


 
 
if there are advantages to using Haiku native threads versus pthreads? I'm 
interested in stability, performance,
compatibility, features, etc.
