I have tried booting on a recent Qemu 0.10.5 like this:

qemu-system-ppc -cdrom haiku_ppc-31611/haiku-boot-cd-ppc.iso -boot d -m 256 -cpu "750_v3.1" -M g3beige

Wether I choose g3beige or mac99 doesn't change anything and I get the already mentioned last message.

I have a few G4 machines and a (broken) G5 that can netboot. Will see about trying out the ISOs later after I finished running the USB-Audio tests I was asked for 2 weeks ago. haha
