FWIW http://www.flyeralarm.com/de/index.php?show_news=109 There is a promise to plant a tree for every order. Personally, I'm not that convinced that this is little more than marketing.

Recycled paper is available for some orders. I have been quoting solely for the purpose of price comparison. Given the feelings expressed we should try and get a quote for an environmentally responsible production. Do you have any contacts to printers through your agency work?

Actually, I do have contacts, but in the agency I work for now, we have a very advanced color laser printer, but no offset machinery. I can ask tomorrow if it's possible to place an order at the usual place for offset printing on recycled paper.

If anybody can find a printer that will do quality offset printing on recycled paper at the same or a lower price, then that would be great, and I would be all for it as long as we can have 1K fliers in the US by the first week of February (final artwork will be ready around the New Year).

However, I don't think we should spend more donated funds just to be eco-friendly. The funds we are going to spend was donated not for ecology purposes but to advance the Haiku cause, and that's where our responsibility to get the most from our buck should focus on, not on saving the planet.

Cheers!
