A bit off topic, but slightly related:
A few months back I found a video pack on this site,
http://www.codectest.com/codectest/streaming-video-codecs.html
I tested them out on the haiku media player and vlc, and media player
only handled a few of the files tossed at it, vlc handle most of them.
There's been a few updates to media player since then so i'm not sure
how well them match up now. I point these out in case anyone was
looking for a way to test out what was and wasn't working. Maybe some
knows of a better set of test video files?
