Congrats on your decision to participate in Google Summer of Code 2009~!
and thank you for choosing Haiku!

Students are allowed to propose any Haiku related idea. It has been
said the most successful GSoC projects are the ones students have they
themselves thought of.

My only suggestion is to be realistic in your application about what
can be implemented in the ~3months that are available for coding.
This is to give your project a better chance of being successful.

For discussing your idea, this mailing list is more than acceptable.
Several developers and many other people are available for discussion
in irc.freenode.net#haiku

Once again, I'm looking forward to your application and participation
with Haiku !
