Again my concern is mainly with students taking summer classes. There
is almost a month between when accepted student applications are
announced and when coding starts. This is called the community bonding
period. All a European student needs to do to get my approval is put
in some hours of work during that time to make up for the weeks when
they cannot work full time in the official coding period. I do not
think this is asking too much and makes things fair for other students
who start working full time at the beginning of the coding period.

I realize most of Haiku's best developers are Europeans and certainly
would not want to exclude European students. But that certainly
doesn't mean they get a free ride :)

I suppose whether we have a Code Drive is dependent on how many slots
we get with Google. There are no guarantees though, just like with
GSoC :)
