[haiku] Haiku OS - 8 CPUs limit?

Hello,
I read in the BeOS Bible that BeOS R4 had a limit of 8 supported CPUs.
Is there a limit in Haiku OS?
Also 8 CPUs?
About 10 years ago PCs with more than 2 CPUs were very rare.
But nowadays there are many 4 core CPUs from AMD and Intel.
I think that in the next few years there will be many CPUs with 6, 8, 10, 12 or
even more cores.
Therefore it would be good for future PC hardware if Haiku would support more
than 8 CPUs.
How is the currect situation?
How many CPUs are supported by Haiku?
