Well if you have a spare partition you can try to install Haiku to it.
Anyway, for bootloader debugging you don't need a separate partition,
you can put the elf OF loader in the mac partition and specify it in
OF.
QEMU should compile fine on ppc also.
PearPC also probably, just without x86 JIT (but it seems to be buggy
anyway).
