Some may use Haiku for primary OS while others (most) will use it as a 
secondary OS.In any case, having a stable, newer release every so often would 
be nice for all Haiku usersI believe.
I really don't expect everyone to agree with me on release cylce dates.  Some 
will be for setting (somewhat) fixed date for releases while others will argue 
releases shouldhappen when the code reaches a certain level.  We won't all 
agree but at least itis an idea which may help Haiku get noticed, accepted and 
used more.
I really can't see how the size of the userbase matters in this regard.  
Whether it be 100or 100,000 makes no difference.  You support your userbase no 
matter what the size is.I'm fairly certain a good number of people downloaded 
and are using Alpha1 in oneway or another and are getting ready for Alpha2.
