I am talking for Niels Reedijk, Alan Smale and myself for this ownership. From
the days before this exciting anouncement, we were checking the differences in
methods between the original BeBook and the Haiku way, because we planned to
write an appendix for those differences for the Haiku book goal. "We know it is
not a plain and straight-forward conversion", Niels pointed, but this is a
great opportunity for both tasks, to convert the BeBook propertly for a better
and faster use, and to adapt the BeBook to the Haiku specific workarounds. I am
not taking here which format is better (like vi vs. Emacs), but for the
convenience to get the documentation as fast and responsive as Haiku is
becoming.
