Why not host all non core haiku related stuff from a sub-domain like
usergroups.haiku-os.org where can be stated that is is not a official 
Channel. It would only be haiku-hosted to give the public a "startingpoint"
for haiku related ranting/discussions/etc like a userforum or the like.

Since WebDAV supports properties that could be used as simple attribute 
replacements, I think we might be better off to have that (both in 
Haiku, of course). Besides, storage and traffic still cost money :-)

At least we're pretty close to deliver a worthwhile experience for the 
interested, there is no need to rush things.
