retroactive too, so apple can't steal old code
Not only would you be on very shakey legal ground to do a retroactive license change at all, but also it's certainly not clear that changing the license to LGPL would stop them from using it. Look at Safari. In fact, maybe having them use it and submitting changes back might be a good thing.
