The current hacky multi-screen support of the graphics cards add little value IMO. > I have my own suggestion aswell :) > one screen one workspace. Please read this blog post to see how multi-screen support will work under Haiku: http://axeld.blogspot.com/2005/11/workspaces.html > Another thing would be what Rudolf was woring on. This is completely different from what the app_server has to do. Also, the current accelerator API does not really take mult-screen into account (ie. multiple screens coming from one card). > By the way how do every body develop changes in the app_server? You either have to run Haiku on a real machine or an emulator of your choice - or run the test environment on R5. > but before changing app_server and stuff I need to make Screen Pref 2 > (that way the original will not be efftected.) Since it's not yet clear how the app_server support for multiple screens will look like, it makes no sense to start with a preferences application for it now. Bye, Axel.
