However, I just thought of a potential problem with a Haiku implementation.. In Windows, for example, a hidden window is restored if you click it's icon thus it's consistent if a new window is opened when you click a non-running app. However, currently in Haiku clicking an app in deskbar shows a list of associated windows, and one isn't restored until you also click the one you want. To make this mechanic consistent in Haiku I think you'd have to implement starting an app in a similar way to how you restore windows. It's definitely worth trying how it feels, but I'm worried that it won't be as elegant and efficient as possible. //Johan
