Yes, you are right, binary compatibility is still there, I made a mistake.
What I complain is the broken of installation and loss control of the home
folder^_^.

It means that the installer or method of installation has been broken by
PM, yes. However, binary compatibility is still there. If you manually
install files to the right places, it should still work. The plan is to
make the transition smooth with some helpful tools. Right now, I admit
it appears broken.
