Akshai Jaggi offered to work on a contract paid by Haiku, inc to improve our
USB3 support. He
worked on porting libusb to Haiku during GSoC 2014, and contributed some
patches to our USB stack
back then. However, since most of his work went on the libusb side of things,
he didn't get commit
access to Haiku yet.
This means someone would have to review his work and get things merged to our
git repos. Haiku, inc
is not willing to put money on the contract unless someone commits to doing
this (essentially the
same as mentoring a GSoC student). I would do it, but I'm currently moving to
a new house which
takes quite a lot of time and I don't have enough Haiku time for mentoring.
Would someone else be
willing to be a mentor for this?
