SCALE (at least when I was there) was SUPER busy. It is great exposure and well worth a couple of bucks, marketing wise. IF the general consensus is to "do it", I would like to brainstorm some booth ideas with anyone interested in such things. I would like Haiku to do something cool, although I am not sure what. It seems it is Feb 22-24th, 2013. This may work out well for me - as I don't think I have any critical work deadlines at that time. Furthermore, I'm in a unique situation where I have a large number of airline points allowing me to fly for essentially "free". I also will have my Southwest Airlines "Companion Pass" which will allow my wife to fly free with me anywhere I go next year. This means I could get myself to/from Southern California for pretty much no cost (well, at the expense of my points), and my wife can attend with me to help. The hotel costs appear to be $112/night. An additional $20 for two days parking at the airport. I'm thinking the cost for me and my wife to attend will be somewhere between $250-300, which isn't bad really. Scott may also wish to attend, and we can probably share a room - I'm not sure what his additional travel costs will be. SCaLE is a pretty good show for Haiku - it's definitely worth going IMO. What does everyone think? - Urias
