Hi all, I figured I'd request this publicly, since I'm already a member of Haiku, Inc. and I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be public. It looks like there is a high probability I can do the SCaLE 9x show in Los Angeles, CA, USA this year. It is next month, February 25-27th. Looks like I will probably need to fly down there which will be less than $100 (one way flight - maybe as cheap as $65 if I can book it soon enough on Southwest) I will be staying 3 nights (Thursday night before the show, then Friday and Saturday night during the show) at $109/night at the hotel where the conference is - this will probably extend out to something like $375 total after room tax, etc. I will then probably be catching a ride home with my wife who will be in the area that weekend and driving back Sunday the 27th. The conference costs are free AFAIK, I should have all the supplies I will need, and I will probably be collecting donations while there (which will either be used to aid my reimbursement, or deposited to the Haiku, Inc. Paypal account if desired - whatever is simpler). I also plan to take care of all my meals personally. So, the question is - can I request somewhere between $400 and $450 reimbursement to do a 3 day show at SCaLE this year? Will that be too much? I am also looking for someone who will volunteer to help at the booth, preferably someone already in the SoCal area. Thanks, Urias McCullough
